Certificates of Authenticity. (Expertisen)
All our items with a price over 250,-€ are delivered with a free photo certificate of authenticity. For items under 250,-€ we can make a certificate for the cost of 20,-€. This can be ordered at the same time you make your order.
If you wish we can also check pieces from your collection that have been purchased elsewhere. The cost is in all cases 30,-€ + shipping cost of your choice.
We can check, medals, badges, insignia, cases and boxes as well as documents and daggers. Our certificate of authenticity guarantees that we would buy the piece for 70% of the value given on the certificate. We can make the certificate in English or German to your wishes.
The certificate contains the title (name of the item), photos showing all relevant points as well as dimensions when this is necessary.
The certificate is printed on special paper with several security measures, such as a hologram sticker to prevent tampering. All certificates have their own number. To copy or make such similar certificates is a criminal offence and such copys will be reported to the Police and prosecuted.
Please send your pieces for evaluation, adequatly insured, to our offices in Hohen Neuendorf together with the address that we should return them to. The items will be returned together with the certifiacte. Generally this takes about a day before the package is given to the shipping company for return.
